Step 1: Create an Opay account
To get started, you’ll need to create an Opay account if you haven’t already. You can do this by visiting the Opay website or downloading the Opay app on your mobile device. Once you’ve downloaded the app, follow the instructions to create an account. You’ll need to provide some basic information, such as your name, phone number, and email address.
Step 2: Navigate to the Opay POS section
After you’ve created an Opay account, navigate to the “Opay POS” section on the website or app. Here, you’ll find information about POS devices that Opay offers, as well as an application form that you’ll need to fill out to request a device.
Step 3: Fill out the application form
To request an Opay POS device, you’ll need to fill out an application form. The form will ask for some basic information about your business, such as your business name, address, and registration number. You’ll also need to provide some personal information, such as your ID card and passport photograph.
Step 4: Provide the required documentation
Along with the application form, you’ll need to provide some additional documentation to support your request for a POS device. The exact documents required may vary depending on your location and the nature of your business, but typically, you’ll need to provide the following:Business registration documents: This could include your Certificate of Incorporation, Business Name Registration Certificate, or other registration documents that prove your business is legally registered.ID card: You’ll need to provide a valid form of identification, such as a national ID card or passport.Passport photograph: Opay will require a recent passport photograph of you, which will be used to identify you as the owner of the business.
Step 5: Wait for approval

What is the charges on OPAY POS?
The charges on OPAY is 0.5% on withdrawal up to N20,000 and N100 on withdrawal above N20,000 and N10 for a deposit from N5000 and below, N20 for deposit form N5,001 and to N10,000 and any transfer above N10,000 is N30 Important note: Opay will give you commission/bonus from these charges and the amount of commission you get will be determined by your current level.
There are 4 different levels on Opay based on the total amount of withdrawal you do monthly,
Opay Regular merchant: < N2,999,999 withdrawal monthly
Gold merchant: Between N3,000,000 to N4,999,999 total withdrawal monthly
Platinum merchant: N5,000,000 and above total withdrawal monthly.
This means you will be charged N5 on every N1000 you withdraw for a customer for any amount below N20,000 and N100 for any withdrawal above N20,000 (note that this is for all merchants, but the difference between the various merchants is in the commission/bonus Opay will return to their wallet based on the merchant level).
Platinum merchants gets 15% discount (commission) on withdrawal Gold merchants gets 10% discount (commission) on withdrawal Regular merchants gets 8% discount (commission) on withdrawal.

Platinum merchants gets 30% discount (commission) .
Gold merchants gets 25% discount (commission) .
Regular merchants gets 15% discount (commission) .
